My name is Raegan Hearn, I’m 16 years old and I am from South Florida. My shooting journey began with joining my local 4H Archery Club at 8 years old.  Then when I was 11, my dad introduced me to Steel Challenge. I started off by first going to a few matches to gain an understanding of the sport and rules before jumping into it. Once I completed my first match, I instantly fell in love with the shooting sports and the community that came along with it.

After about 3 years of shooting Steel Challenge regularly, I branched out into Rimfire Challenge and Action Steel. Being able to shoot targets that were reactive to me was so much fun! After shooting more Action Steel, I ventured out into the realm of 2 Gun and USPSA.  I am hoping to shoot USPSA and 2 Gun more often and more consistently because I love being able to run and gun!  I also command my high school’s Army JROTC Air Rifle Team and I was the first Sophomore to command the team.  Along with my sports, I am an active Girl Scout Senior.  I’ve been part of Girl Scouts ever since I was in kindergarten and I am diligently working on my Gold Award.
